Stats

I have been so excited to post stats on little small baby Beckett.

He was born at 9 lbs 1 oz - putting him in the 78%
He was 83% for height and 78% for his head size.

At his 2 month check, he weighted in at 14 lbs 8 oz - putting him in the 86%.
He was 90% for length and 100% for head size.

I am AMAZED at how much this boy has grown! I looked back to see that Carter was only 9 lbs 10 oz at 2 months.

As expected, because of the difference in birthdays, and in weight, Beckett will wear Carter's clothes at the appropriate times.

(Carter at week 23, the above picture was Beckett at week 10)

Carter does not care to have his picture taken any more, so this is what I get.

I had to get a picture for Valentine's Day. He chose to wear this picture for his Valentine's Day party at school. They were learning about S, and he pointed out that this shirt has 2 S on it, and it is red - good enough for him. Good enough for me too.

Comparisons

I have put together some pictures of the boys. I wanted to put them together in age order, however Carter was so much older and wore the clothes at different ages. Here are a few that I was able to gather. Beckett is on the top, Carter on the bottom.

More Matching Clothes

I bought these outfits for Carter, not expecting that I would have two that fit them both at the same time.

Feeding

Carter really wants to "Feed Baby", which really means he wants to use my pump - or my "Air Compressor" as he terms it. It always starts out with him lifting his shirt and trying to feed baby before he tells me baby is finished and he grabs my pump and turns it on. We have started to really try to involve Carter in feeding Beckett. Beckett does not take a bottle well, but we're working on it.

Carter was telling someone about his new baby brother. He randomly said "He squeaks, and then he spits." For a long time Carter wouldn't go near baby, and he would warn people because of his spitting.

Matching Vests

I found these vests at separate times (4 years apart). I thought it would be cute to get pictures.

EWWWWEEE. Kisses!!

Hey Baby!

I could not do pictures like this without David. It is really difficult getting pictures of one 3 year old boy, let alone a newborn. They are on different schedules with their attitude.

This was my attempt:

Looks like fun huh?
